 Dear O and C,

    Happy Summer! I hope you guys are enjoying yourselves.  I miss you very much and wish I could see you.  I drive by your apartment every day on my way to work hoping to catch a glimpse of you.  No such luck.  The best I can do is dream and imagine what you look like.  On Wednesdays, today, there is a food truck event in the local park near you.  We have gone a couple of times.  Again, I'm always hoping that maybe you will be attending the event too.  It hasn't been the case so far.  I do hope you are getting out and about and enjoying all of the great things our city has to offer.  There are so many events during the summer which I envision you guys would have a blast at.  I hope you're not inside all day playing video games.

    Your mother sent me an update via our talking parents app about a month ago.  This was wildly strange considering she abruptly stopped sending me updates after she harassed me at my place of work.  She gave no explanation as to why she quit the updates, nor why she wrote a new one.  The lack of clear and honest communication on your mothers behalf is alarming.  My guess is that she is either bipolar, or she is playing mind games, which would be pathetic considering she is 40 years old. Either way, it's highly inappropriate and very disrespectful. She also once again sights the two of you as the reason she doesn't send updates more frequently.  I hope you both know that you are just children, and it's not up to you.  Your mother is the parent and the adult, she should act like one.  The decision is completely up to her, whether the two of you agree with it or not.  It is my right as your parent to know how you are doing, and what you are up to.  The fact that she continues to withhold this information from me is simply another form of abuse perpetrated by your mother. Maybe it's a way for her to pacify her immoral conscious for another few months.  Anyway, in the words of your mother, "not my circus, not my monkeys."  I do genuinely want to know how you are both doing, but not at the expense of mental warfare, which is exactly why I arranged a planned schedule for the updates. 

    My wife, RC, and I recently bought a house.  It's beautiful!  I wish I could share it with you.  You would absolutely love the back yard. We have vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and grass to play on.  My hope is that one day you will be able to spend time with us at our house.  Your little brothers CS and BH, are two years old and 2 and a half months old respectively.  CS points to you pictures and says your names.  I don't think he quite knows the connection yet, but he will learn fast.  Once he knows he has two older brothers, he will surely want to meet you.  Both boys have such beautiful personalities and remind me so much of the two of you.  You would love your little brothers so much, there is no doubt in my mind.  They are both very sweet, just like the two of you.  Both playful and loving, and a little silly.  I feel so honored and truly blessed to have four beautiful and healthy boys.  God is most certainly looking out after me.  I pray every day that he is looking out for you too.  

    We are heading to Truckee next week for our annual summer trip.  I am so very fond of Truckee.  Every time we go, I am reminded of all the times we went there together.  We had so much fun.  It's really neat for CS and BH to be able to experience many of the same things you two experienced in Truckee.  Splashing around the lake, riding bikes, swimming in the pool, walking around old town, bbq's...everything that summer is meant to be.  I hope you guys have some fun trips planned for the summer.  I miss you every second of every day, and I love you both so much.  Take good care.

I am a father who has been alienated from his two children, O and C. The alienation began in September 2020. Dear O and C,      I am forty-three years old today.  I wish I was able to spend my birthday with the two of you.  I miss you so much!  The victory I had in court, and the prospect of getting to see you guys soon is the greatest birthday gift I could ever receive.   I can’t wait to begin reunification therapy with you; in person! Dear O and C, I miss you so much.  Lately, it’s been tearing my heart apart when I think about how much I miss both of you.  I watch videos from when you were little.  We didn’t have a perfect home, but we had a darn good one.  It’s obvious to see how much you and I loved and cared for each other.  You felt safe around me.  I was so happy to be your father.  There is also a video where O, you are lying on the floor with your blanket, asking your mother for something.  She is, of course, filming you, and telling you not to throw a temper tantrum.  It is very clear that you are not throwing a temper tantrum, and are only asking for something.  Your mother goes on to threaten you and says, “if you don’t stop throwing a temper tantrum, I’m going to film you, and send it to all of your friends so they won’t want to play with you anymore. When they see this, they won't want to be your friends anymore.”  This is so cruel.  Yet, this...
